The Medical Center offers Behavioral Health Services to meet the needs of those suffering from psychiatric and chemical dependency issues. While each program has its own set of defined goals, each shares a common purpose: to enable individuals to return to a healthy and productive life. Inpatient Programs Adult Inpatient Program
Acute care treatment is designed to provide a variety of treatment options based on the needs of the individual. Individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and educational groups provide the basis for treatment. Many patients with mental disorders also have concurrent medical problems. In such cases, the full array of medical diagnostic and treatment services are available to patients on the psychiatric unit. Geriatric Inpatient Program Outpatient Programs The Medical Center offers three outpatient programs designed to meet an individual's needs: Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient group therapies and Individual Outpatient. A certified alcohol and drug counselor is available to meet the needs of those suffering from dual diagnosis (a combination of both a mental and chemical dependency). Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs are alternative programs for adults diagnosed with a primary psychiatric disorder or who are dually diagnosed. Outpatient Services are generally offered no more than twice per week. These services include individual, marriage and family counseling. Specific program hours for outpatient services are determined on an individualized basis dependent upon the client's needs.
